Women Education And Economical Development Trust is dedicated to fostering women empowerment, skill development, and livelihood activities for impoverished communities in Marakkanam Taluk, Villupuram District, Tamil Nadu. Through tailored programs, we equip women with vocational skills and knowledge to enhance their economic independence. Our Programs
Women Empowerment
We are dedicated to empowering underprivileged women by offering tailoring classes as a means of skill development and economic independence. Through these classes, women learn valuable techniques in garment making, enabling them to create their own livelihoods. We provide comprehensive training and support, fostering confidence and self-sufficiency among participants. By equipping these women with practical skills, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and empower them to build better futures for themselves and their families.

Central Footwear Training Institute - MSME Program
Central Footwear Training Institute MSME-Technology Development Centre in Chennai, under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India Society, conducted an ESDP Training Programme on "Shoe Upper Fabrication" during the period from January 2nd, 2024, to February 9th, 2024, as part of the Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programmes (ESDP) Scheme for the year 2023-24.26-Jan-2024
Republic Day Celebration - 2024
Our NGO celebrated Republic Day 2024 with disabled children, spreading joy and inclusivity. We united in patriotism, as these brave kids showcased their talents and shared their stories. Together, we emphasized equality and diversity, recommitting to creating a society where everyone belongs.24-Dec-2023
Books Distribution
On December 24th, 2023, in Villupuram district, we organized a book and tiffin box distribution event for students. We distributed these items to 30 students, aiming to support their educational and nutritional needs simultaneously. This initiative sought to enhance access to learning resources and promote healthy eating habits among the student community. The event was successful in fulfilling its objectives and contributing positively to the students' welfare.20-Jul-2023
Tailoring Training Program
A tailoring training course for women was conducted in Villupuram on July 20, 2023, providing valuable skills to enhance their livelihood opportunities. The course aimed to empower women with practical knowledge and proficiency in tailoring, contributing to their economic independence and self-sufficiency. Participants gained essential expertise to pursue entrepreneurial ventures or secure employment in the garment industry, fostering socio-economic development in the community.Our Impact
